The Pocket Reader is made from a high-quality polycarbonate, a light but extremely strong plastic, which does not break or crack during normal usage. Ordinary reading glasses are made from CR39, a thicker and more vulnerable material. Polycarbonate is a flexible yet strong plastic which gives the lenses of the Pocket Reader their unique thin shape and extremely light weight. The lenses are also coated with a special scratch-resistant layer to maintain optimum reading enjoyment.
The Pocket Reader was created for your convenience. Bills, menu cards, user instructions, labels, newspapers, maps, shopping lists, memos, contracts, mobile phone displays or music lists on IPods will now become clearer and quicker to read. The Pocket Reader fits everyone.
Each Pocket Reader has a connecting piece between the two lenses that is made from the same high-quality plastic as the lenses. A slight movement is all it takes to move the lenses closer together or further apart so that the Pocket Reader fits every nose. Please read the instructions carefully before adjusting the Pocket Reader to fit.
